Our engineers Robin, Paul, Ruben and Eric-Jan started the 3D Experience project internally at the beginning of this year. A new, secure, real-time overview of all business and project activities, connecting people, ideas and data in one cloud collaboration environment and enabling DESPRAY engineers to innovate and accelerate processes in completely new ways.
Together with the instructors of CADMES, we are now working hard every week to make this SOLIDWORKS 3D CAD cloud solution our own and to implement it fully soon. Because it all fits together slightly differently than our current software package, it is mainly about understanding the logic behind it and aligning our working methods even more uniformly.

Advantages of SOLIDWORKS 3D Experience such as:
- we shorten the time to market
- innovate faster through simultaneous task management
- automation of repetitive tasks
- verification at every step in the design project
- seamless knowledge transfer in every discipline
- access to online libraries
In short, with the 3D Experience project we want to design better, faster and at lower costs and collaborate safely. But above all to successfully implement our innovative ideas in our DESPRAY machines, constructions and/or components.

Last week DESPRAY management personally welcomed our client GDB International to our factory in Almelo, the Netherlands. GDB is a global leading recycling and sustainability solutions provider in the household paint recycling industry. With 25 years’ experience and approximately 475 employees worldwide in more than 46 countries GDB is now turning their focus on expanding into the AEROSOL paint recycling markets.

After a warm welcome to Ganesh and Terry we gave an extensive tour of our world class DESPRAY production facilities as well as state of the art ART recycling center. In August 2024, GDB purchased a DESPRAY system, which is in the final stages of assembly in Almelo, the Netherlands.
Later that day, Sanjeev Bagaria, CEO of GDB International, joined us for an in depth online video tour of the facilities. Discussions then turned to the next steps of the system installation and commissioning of the DESPRAY unit on GDB production site in the USA.
GDB plans to further roll out this DESPRAY technology both in the US and internationally. The GDB “paint cycle” program intends to fully recycle aerosol spray paint back into a usable paint product, highlighting their commitment to an expanding a responsible and sustainable paint industry that reduces global warming. To be continued!
